Our first Standard Poodle became a black bitch from the US namely Ch Blue Skies Splash 'Darryl' (co-owned with Debbie Cozart of Australia). Darryl had a short but intensive career.

in Sweden because she was later going to her co-owner in Melbourne. Sparingly shown she gained four CC's, BOB, BOS - wins but also won a group and ended as No 2 Best In Show at an all breed show in Avesta 1998! BIS judge Jackie Perry.
Geoff Corish from UK judged the breed and the group and he wrote:

"Beautiful bitch, so sound and free moving. Beautiful outline, long fine head, lovely expression. One I would like to take home!"

Darryl was bred to a Swedish dog named Ch Nexus Extremely Busy ( Sinner - son ) and produced six puppies. Four of them are champions today! And they just turned two!
